About the Skills Mapping System

This is only for early stage Startups who are into initial stages of Hiring. The Skills Mapping System is designed to help organizations track and analyze the skills of their employees, compare them against job role requirements, and identify skill gaps for training and development.

How Skills Are Managed

• Pre-defined Masters: Sourced from popular job portals, providing recency and relevance.
• Skills Master: Most required skills in current industry Tele Calling. Job Roles Master: Most required Job Roles in current industry Founder's Office Exec.
• Employee records are maintained along her/his skills: Example: Pooja has Native Android and Mongo DB.
• Each Job Role has required skills pre-defined: A Job Role has specific skills mapped to it with tags as Beginner/Intermediate and Expert. HR need not enter these skills. Example: Head of Marketing role has Financial Analysis mapped to it.
• Admin Access: If a master record has to be altered,Admin access is provided for changing the records. This is not encouraged, unless absolutely necessary.

Skills Gap Reporting

Main feature of the App. The system can generate skills gap reports to highlight training needs.

Example: If a role has 4 skills and the employee has 3, the report will show 3 in green (Aligned) and 1 in red (missing).

Recommended Task Frequencies

• Adding Employee: Weekly
• Adding Skills to Employee: Almost daily
• Adding Skills to Job Role Master and Skills Master: already Pre-defined. Yearly review (backend/admin)
• Skills Gap Report: Monthly presentation to Management
